Colin Green on Previz

There's a great interview with Colin Green of the Pixel Liberation Front over at XSI Base. It's very interesting how their first previsualization system came out of tying together CG imagery for the early ride-film at the Luxor. They reused a lot of the techniques on Judge Dredd, and got closer to the previz system they were imagining. There's an interesting progression and set of screenshots through Starship Troopers and Matrix Revolutions. I'm bemused by his comments on the cultural gap between film and games, I like to imagine we're much farther along than he says! His closing comments on communications skills are right on, especially for those of us working to bridge the game/film gap.
