Sakakibara Kikai (Sakakibara Machineworks) has created an actual mobile suit. It seems to follow as a surety that the Japanese would be the first to roll something like this out; an entire generation has grown up on the likes of Gundam! The picture links to a youtube video of the MS strutting about. My favorite bit is the view from inside the cockpit. Sakakibara has a much more sober lineup on their website, featuring heavy concrete mixing machinery, and a blue robot called Kyuri-chan.
